Mumbai, December 2024 — Sheena Chohan was honored with a prestigious Best Actress Award for her outstanding performance in the comedy series Ex Mates, presented by Renowned director Raaj Shaandilyaa, known for the hit film Dream Girl, presented the award to Sheena amidst a gathering of artists, filmmakers, and industry icons.
The star-studded event, at the Boogle Bollywood Awards 2024, organized by Gaurav Rana Sukhija, was held in Mumbai and celebrated the best in Bollywood talent.
Reflecting on her portrayal of her character Shreya, Sheena said, “Creating Shreya was so much fun because comedy is my favorite genre, and bringing drama into it added a cherry on the cake. Shreya is a modern girl with great ambitions, but she’s stuck in a relationship that’s far from ideal. Playing her allowed me to explore a range of emotions — from vulnerability to resilience — all while keeping the tone light and relatable. Living this role to the fullest was pure joy”

Sheena’s performance as Shreya has been widely praised for its authenticity, emotional depth, and comedic timing. With Ex Mates marking a high point in her career, Sheena is already looking forward to her upcoming projects. Her Bollywood debut in Sant Tukaram, where she plays the female lead opposite Subodh Bhave, directed by Aditya Om, has been generating immense buzz. Sheena will also be seen in the international thriller Bhayaava, the Hollywood film Nomad, and a Telugu film where she plays a dynamic lady cop.
